Information you put in the app
Checklists, templates, folder names, work order numbers, customer references, due dates, and completion records are stored locally on your device. The current app does not upload that content to a developer-operated server and does not provide cloud synchronization or a separate app account.
Your device’s backup settings may include app data in an Apple or computer backup. Those backups are controlled by you and the relevant backup provider.
Purchases and the free trial
Apple processes in-app purchases. The app uses Apple’s StoreKit service and verified transaction information, including product identifiers and purchase dates, to determine trial and full-unlock access. We do not receive your credit card details. Apple handles purchase information under its own privacy policies.
Exports you choose to share
When you export a PDF, it may include the checklist and job information you entered. You choose whether to save, print, or send it to another app or person. Information you share becomes subject to the recipient’s or service’s practices. Please review reports before sharing customer information.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments you send. We use this information to answer your request and investigate issues. Support email is handled through Gmail. Please avoid sending sensitive customer details, passwords, or payment information.
Support correspondence is retained as needed to respond to requests, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. You may email us to request deletion of your support correspondence.
Analytics, advertising, and this website
The current app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell your checklist data. This website does not include an advertising tracker or a contact form. Our hosting provider may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the website.
Your choices and deletion
You control the information you enter and the reports you share. Individual lists can be deleted while editing access is active. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data; copies in backups or exported files must be managed separately. We cannot retrieve or delete checklist files stored only on your device.
Children
Get Checked Off is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed specifically to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address the request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision. Features such as future cloud synchronization would require an updated explanation of how information is handled.
